Timetable update from 26 October
On 26 October, the final update of the annual train timetable for all railway operators, including SKM, will come into force.
The biggest changes will take place in November. Due to track reconstruction, Warszawa Centralna station will be closed to all train traffic on Saturday, 8 November from 12:00. Modernisation works will continue until the end of 15 November.
During this time, SKM line S3 trains will run on two separate routes:
- S3 Warszawa Chopin Airport – Warszawa Główna
- S30 Warszawa Wschodnia – Legionowo
From 8 November (from 12:00) to 15 November, trains will not run through Warszawa Centralna.
There will also be difficulties for passengers of line S1. On 22–23 November, due to track closures at Warszawa Zachodnia station, some S1 trains from Otwock will end their route at Warszawa Wschodnia. On these days, fewer trains will run from Pruszków towards Otwock.
During the first weekend of December (6–7 December), track works will be carried out near Warszawa Włochy station. For this reason, some S1 trains will be cancelled between Pruszków and Warszawa Zachodnia.
In November, works will also continue on the construction of a tunnel in Wesoła and a viaduct in Rembertów. These will cause temporary track closures and shortened routes for some S2 trains.
Because of the timetable update, departure times of all SKM lines may change slightly. Please check the updated timetables carefully on the WTP website.
