Major disruptions on the S1 line from 12 April
From 12 to 26 April, trains will not run between Warszawa Wawer and Otwock. Passengers should expect major changes to SKM and Koleje Mazowieckie services.
12–26 April: Complete suspension of train services
During this period, SKM line S1 trains and Koleje Mazowieckie trains coming from Warsaw will run only as far as Warszawa Wawer station. The S1 line will operate with a basic frequency of two trains per hour (about every 30 minutes).
Zarząd Transportu Miejskiego (ZTM) will provide a replacement bus service – line ZS1.
ZS1 buses will run:
- on the route: PKP Wawer – Widoczna – Patriotów (west side) – Józefów – Otwock – PKP Otwock
- every 10 minutes during peak hours
- every 15 minutes outside peak hours and on Sundays
In Wawer, buses will stop at the Widoczna stop, located next to the entrance to the station. In Otwock, a temporary bus terminal will be organised on the east side of the railway station.
Replacement buses will also be provided by Koleje Mazowieckie.
In addition, bus line 521 will run more frequently.
- Between PKP Falenica and Wiatraczna buses will run every 5 minutes during peak hours and every 7.5 minutes outside peak hours,
- On the full route to Dworzec Centralny, buses will run with the usual frequency.
An additional bus line 229 will also be introduced. It will connect PKP Falenica with Metro Imielin (via Most Anny Jagiellonki):
- every 15 minutes on weekdays
- every 30 minutes on Saturdays and public holidays.
Passengers can also use bus line 319, which provides a connection from the PKP Międzylesie area to Metro Imielin.

From 27 April: trains return on a single track
