Bicycles can be transported in designated areas. These are located in the first and last carriages of the trains and are clearly marked.

The bicycle should always be placed on a hanger or stand. The number of stands is limited – there are 8 in each vehicle. Please note that travel may not be possible if all the stands have already been taken.

In some vehicles, the spaces for bicycles and the spaces for people in wheelchairs or with strollers are shared. Please remember that priority is given to people in wheelchairs or those with strollers. This means that the train staff may ask a passenger with a bicycle to leave the vehicle if someone with a stroller boards the train.

The train conductor may also request a passenger to leave the vehicle if they are transporting a bicycle outside of the designated area or violating other rules.

Passengers should follow the instructions of the train staff.

While travelling with a bicycle, always consider the other passengers’s comfort. Do not make it difficult to use the vehicle, do not block doors or aisles, and be careful not to hit or get someone dirty or stain.

Travelling with a bicycle on SKM trains is free of charge.
