WOŚP Charity Auction Finale: A Unique Railway Experience in Support of Children
Another edition of our charity auction in support of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity (WOŚP) has come to an end. This year’s winning bidder, Mr Tomasz, had the opportunity to discover the world of Szybka Kolej Miejska (SKM) from behind the scenes and enjoy two unforgettable days immersed in railway operations.
A special programme of attractions prepared by our team awaited the auction winner. Mr Tomasz embarked on a unique journey, observing the route from the train driver’s perspective and learning about the daily responsibilities involved in operating a train. He also visited our depot, where he had the chance to see, among other things, a shunting locomotive in operation and the facilities where SKM vehicles are serviced and prepared for their daily runs.
To conclude this exceptional visit, our guest received a commemorative set of unique destination boards and a collection of SKM-branded souvenirs.
Together We Keep the Spirit of Giving Moving
The auction itself was full of excitement, but what mattered most happened behind the scenes.
The entire amount raised has been donated to the WOŚP Foundation and will support the diagnosis and treatment of digestive system diseases in children.
