III Forum of Train Driver Instructors - event recap
The 3rd Forum of Driver-Instructors is now behind us. This event, dedicated to professionals working in train driver training centres, once again provided a valuable platform for exchanging experiences, insights, and ideas.
As organizers, we are especially pleased with the record attendance — nearly 130 participants joined us for this year’s Forum.
Thank you for taking part in the discussions during debates on key topics currently shaping the railway industry: SPAD incidents (Signal Passed At Danger), licensing and certification exams for train drivers, and occupational railway medicine — a critical issue with a direct impact on staffing levels across many railway operators.
The debate topics were developed in consultation with railway companies themselves, who, like SKM, are committed to improving the management and quality of train driver training programs. Well-prepared and professionally trained drivers are a guarantee of safe travel for all passengers.
We would like to thank all attendees for their presence, the speakers for their excellent presentations and insightful discussions with the audience, and our event partner — the Polish Association of Local Government Carriers.
